Truman House

This residence is located between Bainbridge Pharmacy and the Bainbridge Methodist Church.

It is one of the few remaining examples of the early 19th century practice of a business man locating his residence near his place of business.  For many years, it was the residence of William Wallace Davis and the Davis & Sherwood General Store was located in the foreground of the picture.  During the first of of the 20th Century, the house was occupied by the Truman Brothers who operated what is now the Bainbridge Pharmacy.
